The most exciting football weekend is coming in J-League on 1st Dec 2007. Both J1 and J2 have not announced their winners yet. Urawa Reds and Tokyo Verdy 1969 are top of the table in J1 and J2 sides but they have to work hard to take the title.
The J1 titleholder, Urawa reds are top of the table with 70 points and Kashima Antlers are just one point behind the Reds. Last week Reds were beaten by Antlers at home with shouts of the spectators although Reds would have won the title even if they drew against Antlers. Reds have not won recent games including a shock defeat against J2 side, Ehime FC on Tuesday’s Emperor’s Cup 4th round which rested some starting members.
Also J2 side, Tokyo Verdy 1969 are favorable to clinch the title. They almost have been promoted to J1 next season as they have massive advantage with their goal differences but Consadole Sapporo are in the same point by 88 points and Kyoto Sanga are just three points behind the leader, Verdy. It is going to be hard to take the title unless they win the next game against Cerezo Osaka in Nagai, Osaka
Reds face Yokohama F.C. who has already been relegated to J2 in the next season while Antlers play against Shimizu S-Pulse. Also Consadole play against Mito HollyHock at home and Sanga face Thespa Kusatsu on Saturday.
Please look at some detailes of the match and tables below which might help to find out current situation.
